Union of typography with the arts

“No one has ever written, painted, sculpted, modeled, built, or invented except literally to get out of hell.” — Antonin Artaud

A phrase by the surrealist and anarchist poet Antonin Artaud was the basis of the idea for the design of these posters. In the background, Renaissance arts that evoke the duality between good and evil.

The visual result was a Dantesque typographic structure connecting heaven and hell, an allusion to Artaud’s excerpt.
